love. sometimes we think we have it and lose it. sometimes it creeps up on us. it can pounce from down the hall, or from halfway across the globe. it can tease you time and time again, no matter how fervently you will it away. As little boy Sam in love, actually points out, sometimes there is little that is worse than the total agony of being in love.
here’s a selection of images that I’ve found via Le Love to ignite the romantic within, that encourage me to see love not as an agonizing experience to be suffered through but rather an inspirational comfort which stems both from optimism and the confidence we build in ourselves and in others.

now, go to her. go to him. pursue the things you love.

remember grand gestures. be real, be surprising, be adventurous.

leave love notes. read love notes. exercise devotion. and mean it.

remember kids, having courage and loving yourself is always in fashion.
sending you lots of love on a late sunny afternoon in Vancouver….
