Vancouver Olympics: the Lost & Found Sale

Now this is a sale worth blogging about: imagine the treasure trove of lost goods left over from the manic weeks of the Vancouver 2010 Olympics.  It’s great to see that the proceeds will be going to a worthy cause – the Network of Inner City Community Services Society, so families and children in the Strathcona, Downtown East Side, and Grandview Woodlands will receive additional support.

The sale began today and will continue to Saturday, July 31.  I will definitely be checking this out tomorrow – probably a good opportunity to stock up on an extra cell phone (I seem to lose my Blackberry every 3 months), a camera, and who knows what else they’ll have – but it sounds like the selection will be all across the board, even in terms of clothing.
