BC Fashion Week founding partners Debra Walker and Vladimir Markovich have just announced their resignation as show coordinators, citing that they will be moving on to new opportunities.  Both Deb and Vlad will remain on board as consultants to the incoming executive team, which will be announced shortly.

“A number of opportunities have been presented to Debra and myself that are aligned more closely with both of our professional and personal goals,” stated Markovich.  “We both believe very strongly in the vision of BC Fashion Week and look forward to continuing to support the fashion industry in BC and Canada.  The new executive team for BC Fashion Week will be announced and assuming their new roles shortly.  We look forward to working with them in taking the events to the next level.”

BC Fashion Week has enjoyed 7 successful seasons, showcasing designers such as Evan & Dean, Anna Kosturova, Christina Darling, Nicole Bridger and JC Studio.  It is expected that the next fashion week will take place this upcoming March.
