Chloe passed away late on Saturday night after becoming ill on Friday. She was nearly 14, and had an amazing life – lots of camping trips, walks to the park, and so much love from everyone who met her.

It’s been an incredibly hard adjustment and I’m sure it will be tough for a long time, but I think it would be an injustice to her if my sadness prevented me from doing the things that I love or if I let my grief overshadow my appreciation for the long life she had. I have an incredible support system, so thanks to my friends and family for helping me through this loss.

Chloe, August 1994 – June 2008
Due to a sad and unexpected loss in my family, I need to take a break from the site for a little while.
Thanks for your support.
