All great shops with solid brands – I will update the post later with a note on what the prices are like and let you know if they are, indeed, holy @$&# prices. I am in dire need of some new blush so will be popping by today to check out what Kiss and Makeup has to offer, at least.

Today marks Lark’s 5 year birthday in Mount Pleasant, and they’re celebrating with shopping, wine, and food – with proceeds going to the Growing Chefs program for Mount Pleasant Elementary School (cute).
There will be wine tastings, a silent auction, and of course shopping the new spring items in store. Lark carries beautiful lines so there should be plenty to tempt you with!

We may be thick in the middle of BC Fashion Week, but there are plenty of other happenings around town to enjoy in between shows. Italian boutique Vetrina is hosting a fashion show today, showcasing the latest Spring lines from Sfizio, Gianfranco Ferre, John Richmond, Angelo Mozzillo, Jenny Packham, Mariella Burani, Giuseppe Zanotti, Cesare Paciotti, and Tomaso Sefanelli. Owner Rachel Kapsalis has stocked the high-end boutique with sandy shades complimented by rich Mediterranean hues, tailored to the specific desires of her clientele.
Be there by 6pm for refreshments and hors d’ouevres, catch the fashion show at 6:45, and stick around to browse through the salon afterwards.
